South of Seleni, just behind Mount Tricoli, an incredible terrace that dominates the wooded plateau, lies the majestic Valle del Pardu, a truly astonishing concentration of historical and natural monuments. From the ghost town of Gairo Vecchio, which lies on the northern slope of the valley, you can reach the wonderful archaeological sites of Is Tostoinus in the area to the south of Gairo Taquisara and Serbissi on the territory of Osini.

In the north, springs from these heights feed rivers, waterfalls and natural basins such as those of Lanzinosa or Bau Mela, many of which flow into Lake Flumendosa and characterise the area further downstream.
